'Lamaione' Frescobaldi 2018 Frescobaldi

The "Lamaione" dei Frescobaldi is a great 100% Merlot red wine, born on the Castelgiocondo estate and aged for 2 years in new barriques. It has a noble, intense and fruity personality, with aromas of black cherries, wild berry jam and lots of sweet spices. On the palate it is soft, warm, velvety and enveloping, with a long persistence, broad and enveloping, with an excellent structure, with well-worked tannins and a final fruity persistence that continues in the aftertaste. A bottle that goes very well with main courses of meat, especially with those presented by long cooking: try it with a braised meat or a stew.
