    Description

    Produced for the first time in the 1977 vintage, it was the first pure Sangiovese vinified in our area of ​​Radda in Chianti. The grapes come from historic vineyards, planted between 1968 and 1999. It matures for one year in Allier barriques and one year in Slavonian oak barrels. On the nose it releases aromas of morello cherry and ripe red fruits that intertwine with hints of rose and violet potpourri and notes of dark oriental spices. The aromatic range is completed by hints of balsamic and fragite herbs. The taste is rich and elegant, enhanced by silky tannins and a long spicy finish. A very elegant wine.

    Grapes: 100% Sangiovese

    Region: Tuscany/ Radda in Chianti

    Aging: 12 months in barriques, 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and approximately 3 months in the bottle

    Serving temperature: 17-18°

    Pairings: roast white and red meats, noble poultry, game, cheeses.
