This Brunello is a red wine with a strong personality and extraordinary longevity. The maturation process takes place partly in Slavonian barrels and partly in French oak barriques, resulting in a deep ruby red color with slight garnet reflections.
On the nose is elegant, with complex sensations of balsamic notes and small red fruits that evolve towards tobacco, dark chocolate and licorice root. On the palate, it reveals an important structure characterized by soft and well integrated tannins balanced by a balanced acid vein with mineral sensations. The long aromatic persistence and full taste make this Brunello di Montalcino 2010 a truly unique wine.
