The year's harvest was protected by a cold winter and a very cool spring, with plenty of rainfall. In general, there has been a delay in the various phenological phases of the vine, of around ten days compared to the average of recent years. The rains at the end of summer (at the beginning of September) contributed to the regular continuation of the ripening of the grapes, which brought the harvest to the third week of September.
The new vintage of this pure Nero d'Avola, once again, tells of central-eastern Sicily and of the people who contributed to this project, which has always been projected towards the future, with the elegance and complexity that distinguish it from 1984.
