Always called the "king of wines and the wine of kings", Barolo is an iconic red from the Langhe, loved throughout the world for its elegance and long aging potential.
This winery is one of the most prestigious production companies in the Langhe, a small genius of Barolo. The owned vineyards extend across the most renowned Barolo crus: Brunate, Cannubi, San Lorenzo and Ravera. His wines are capable of aging for decades, they are classic and profound, capable of describing the terroir. Barolo is an austere and traditional wine, full-bodied and intense. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts for approximately 25 days in Slavonian oak vats and aging for 36 months in large oak barrels and a further 3 months in the bottle. A melancholic and meditation wine, in the glass it has an intense ruby red color with elegant and delicate aromas of small fruits, flowers, aromatic herbs and spices. The taste is full and persistent, with notes of flowers and raisins emerging in succession. A Barolo that can evolve and mature for up to 20 years, is perfect as an accompaniment to mature cheeses or meat main courses.
We recommend uncorking the bottle three or four hours beforehand. It should be served at 18-20 degrees centigrade. The optimal glass is the transparent, smooth and colored crystal glass
